New Mexico defeated San Diego State by a final score of 64-58 to win the 2014 Mountain West Tournament.

Cameron Bairstow was named Tournament MVP and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Alex Kirk, Kendall Williams, Dwayne Polee II and Xavier Thames.

Xavier Thames of San Diego State has been named Mountain West Player of the Year.

Thames was joined on the All-Conference First Team by Cameron Bairstow, Deonte Burton, Larry Nance Jr. and Kendall Williams.

On the Second Team are Daniel Bejarano, Khem Birch, Anthony Drmic, Tyler Johnson and Ryan Watkins.

Birch was also named Defensive Player of the Year.

Freshman of the Year honors went to Paul Watson of Fresno State.
